I was in desperate need of a good historical fiction, and this one really satisfied. My only gripe was that the "time slip" part of the novel wasn't quite as smooth as I would have liked. I found it completely by accident at Borders (I was actually looking for something else), but I really liked it and I hope I'll get a chance to read the others.
