I'm looking at this picture of my parents and I from when they visited Des Moines last October. My dad has his arm around me and is on my left. Mom is on my right. She's kissing my cheek and hugging me. Dad is smiling, and his eyes look a touch watery. I have a big white-tooth grin on my face, too. This picture makes me really happy.

I'm about to have a heart attack I feel like. I was laying down just a minute ago to go to sleep, and I think I had a panic attack. My heart was racing, and I couldn't think straight. All I can think about right now is how much I have to do. Writing in this journal isn't giving me any more time, but I suppose it's helping me blow off some steam ( Read more... )

Do you know how it is when you want to explode? Not like because you're pissed off or anything, but just because you're overwhelmed with everything. I've wanted to explode a lot lately. I'm a planner. There's no question about that. I plan holidays, parties, my daily schedule, where I'm going to be every second of every minute of my life. Right now, I'm trying to plan out my schedule fully for next semester. I know when I'm going to class and stuff, but I'm trying to decide when I want to work at Meredith and the magazine center. I'm really excited. There's a chance I may go to Slovenia with Professor Prijatel after school gets out in May. It's one of those study seminar things. I just talked to my mom and dad about it for a while. They both seemed open to the idea. I'm going to bring the information home over break, and we'll decide what to do.
