Getting a new guitar

So I'm planning on getting a new guitar--more specifically, an acoustic-electric guitar. My favorite one online was the Ovation shallow bowl celebrity guitar, for $300. It's almost as thin as my electric guitar, but really light, and all the reviews online were great. Today I went to Guitar Center to try it out, and it really wasn't all that

I'd get it - other than the color, it seems just about perfect and is in your price range, and you havne't seen anything else. Besides, the black looks pretty good and if you end up really hating it, you can always paint it or strip it or something.

wait! why is everyone saying yes? i say no, don't get it. at least not right away. keep looking around. you want to be 100% satisfied!! i mean there are soo many guitars out there, that you may very well find one that is great AND has a natural finish.

hehe I think you should buy it and put stickers on it. Tristan Prettyman did that and it looked soooo cool.
