Anything interesting happened for anyone lately? I'm still enjoying my time in France. A little less than four weeks to go and then I'll be heading back to the States, so I'm making the most of it. I'm glad I have a little nest egg waiting for me when I get back; I don't know how much longer my bank account can stretch out. Europe is pretty damn

It's been pretty much run of the mill time around her. The shootings at VT yesterday really upset me.

I saw your univ_ri post about the petition you submitted for your French film class. I recently petitioned to have an Natural Resource Science class (NRS 100) count toward three of my six Natural Science credits (four I have already completed in BIO 101), and I was rejected-- head of the department's signature and my own letter and everything. Annoying, because I plan on spending two semesters abroad and I'm double majoring.

Thanks for the heads up of sorts, in any case. I'm a Spanish major and was thinking of doing pretty much the same thing (with a Spanish film class, of course), but I think I'll forgo that now...

I know this is a late response, but they did, in fact, approve my petition. So if you really need to, you could try to count the Spanish film class as a gen ed.
