Challenge #4

In your own space, make a list of things that you wish existed in fandom or elsewhere, and/or that you'd like someone to create or do for you.

I always want the same things from fandom; quite a few of them are not things that fandom is going to provide anytime soon.

1. An epic action-adventure packed Steve Rogers/Maria Hill fic, where they come together, fall in love, have to defeat an enemy, and live happily -for-now. It would be freaking amazing if it circumvents Infinity War and/or Endgame.

2. More MCU fics about Maria/Steve generally. Ones that are about them actively being together, working out each other in and through their lives, romancing while being on the run, stealing kisses in between sneaking around, negotiating sex, etc.

(I mean, I like the 'they smile at each other and it's a cute moment' but I kind of want the resolved sexual tension of them actually being together and dealing with that.)

3. art about my favourite characters. I got the most amazing Maria Hill drawing from
oswulf in the Art Nouveau style a couple of years ago. But I'd love to see more art of Maria Hill (MCU), Teyla Emmagan (SGA), Faith Lehane (BtVS), or Gwen (BBC Merlin) interacting with other characters from their fandoms.

4. Cover art/podfics for any of my AO3 fics. It's fantastic to hear people's takes on my stories!

5. Merlin BBC: Gwen/Arthur fic. This one is a bit difficult because I left the show around the end of S3 just as the Round Table formed and didn't see any of the following 2 seasons (although I heard it all went downhill). But I'd love to read a story where it went well - where Camelot triumphed: Merlin is revealed and achieves his destiny, Arthur unites Albion, Morgana is redeemed, and Gwen becomes the heart of the kingdom. I'm okay with recs for this but the story needs to be Arthur/Gwen and should involve Gwen a significant amount: ideally, the narrative of the story would be moved along by all four of them in equal amounts. And that's usually the sticking point.

6. Recs of my fic. I always love finding people who've enjoyed my fic recommending it, with extra added words. It's valuable to know not only that people like it, but what they liked about it.

7. Beta readers or cheerleaders for my original writing. I have an urban fantasy story in the works and ideally I'd like someone to read it through as I post it on my writing journal and let me know if it's making any sense. Or even just cheerlead me on. IDK.

I mean generally, I just want more people who love the same things I love and who are productive in making things about those things that we both love. It's rarer than one might think, mostly because my tastes are really very rare.
