1.) The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of the same family grow up nder the same roof.
2.) Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.
...how I love Richard Bach, remind me to introduce the two of you. Then you will get the Blue Feather and The Is.
3.) You said anthropomorphic, that is just simply hot. Lara Flynn Boyle's character in Threesome has nothing on me.
Thanks for your comments. I dig that you think my use of the word anthropomorphic is hot. What would the word hirsute do for ya? I know what is does for Miguel.
I'm not sure Alan would appreciate the Charlie Brown comment about his tree, but truth be told, I agree with you.
If not, well then what does it matter if we openly berate his tree? Then again, even if he does, it is a tree and I don't think it is reading this iteself. of course if Alan reads to his tree we might have a problem. As I am sure you realize trees and plants are effected by emotional energy. Then again, judging by the picture that mutha iis deader than a doornail yo!
No, Alan doesn't read LJ. He prides himself in his Christmas displays. How was the rest of your Christmas? Solitude, booze, and phone sex - I think you had the right idea.
I agree with you and the family.... I for one am ok with mine.... but they at least live 1/2 way across the country...... we have gotten to a great place now but it took many years. I think we start with the biological family which we can't pick and we do the best we can.... and I think to a degree all are somewhat dysfunctional in their own ways. However it is the family you create along the way that is really what is important. The people that surround you today, love you today, make you feel safe, secure, supported, wanted and loved. That is what I take with me to bed every night. Those are the people I think of as I close my eyes and fall asleep. I LOVE the pic of the xmas tree.... I love looking at christmas trees..... the lights, the balls, the smell, it always takes me to places deep down in my soul and no matter what the tree looks like, full for thin, tall or small, no matter if the ornaments are one of kind, handmade or just round and one color, if it has glitter or doesn't.... it is always a happy thing for
