Are schools becoming to lenient?

So I rarely post but I was sitting in my night class tonight and we were doing presentations on children's books that we analyzed and blah blah blah. And something happened where it made me start to wonder if our educational system (mostly college level) is becoming too lenient on their standards when it comes to non English speaking residents. I do disagree with you on that one. Sometimes diving in head first is the only way to get that kind of advanced education. I actually believe not pushing kids hard and fast enough is why the US is having trouble keeping up with foreign school systems. That's just me of course.

Being in a 2 year college much like you, I think that non universities are becomeing to leanient.

I am not the best at grammer and spelling, but when it comes to science and math I excell...and there are people in my school who are future vet techs and will have lives in their hands that cannot even work a microscope at our age or older...its not just other cultures, its our own too.

I think we need to push hard and ask a lot of people, but I think that some people are NOT college material and we need to address that situation too...I think we push too many people into college when they are not ready.
