so last night my host family threw a dinner for me. a couple of my dads friends who i got drunk with a few weeks ago came over. i was so happy. i sat between them so i could have someone pushing drinks on me at all times. they kept on making me eat to even though i was really full. japan is really big on using rock paper scissors to solve anything ( Read more... )

Wow. It's somebody that actually knows you.

If you don't want to come back, don't come back. You're an adult now in both countries and most of the world. You have intuition and brains, if you're willing to use them. I would love to play with you all year long and go on adventures and the sort, but if you'd truly rather live your life there than here, I don't think I could be happy about your return either.

tierney is my dear friend and sweetheart for life, but the last thing i'm going to do is pull her around and convince her of things she doesn't want.

Maybe i'm foolish for stating so, but i think that love is about letting people make their own choices, and supporting them even if you disagree with them.

Sorry to be a butt. It's just what I think. I think very highly of you as well, and would never want you to do or not do anything that leads you to defying your heart or reason. Great people and minds deserve more than to be dragged around. Like I said, I hope this doesn't make me out to be a jerk, but it's really how I feel.

(just so you can feel loved and missed by random individuals one last time before your return...)

aubbs and i been answering/hearing these 4 questions on a weekly basis for the past twelve months...

random o'smellerie employees/customers:

"so auuuuubra, when's that sister of yours coming home? how's that sister of yours doing? have you heard from your sister lately?? does your sisssster like japan?"

we just started telling them that you would be home anyday to pursue your dream of being the o'smellerie snackbar maiden. i could tell they were in desperate need of your services, and this seemed to comfort them.

anyway. welcome back when you get here.

bye!brenna

As long as you keep writing like you do now I don't think anyone will have a reason to take you off their lists.
