Oh, DW, just when I start to worry that you're going to disappoint me, you don't.

I only have one little concern before next week's episode. (spoilers, naturally) )

Yeah, Like I said before I like Donna a lot. Other then Ace, she's now my favorite companion in the entire series. Been watching this show since I was in grade school, so that said a lot. Or maybe I just have a thing for gingers. ...But I hated Mel. ...odd.

ANYWAY, there is a lot going on and honestly I have a lot to process. It's like to think this is another red herring. With Russel leaving the show after next years specials, it would sort of be if nothing else, a dick move if he kills her. While there is that bit of worry, there is also a bit of excitment as I don't know what's going on (well fully) for once. It seems like even avoiding them, I've always tripped into spoilers, but I'm pretty much going in as just a viewer for once and I sort of dig it.

Yeah, a big part of why I haven't written much about this series is because it's sort of overwhelmed me. I feel like anything I have to say about it will be inadequate and mostly consist of lots of squeeing over how awesome Donna is.

I kind of figure that RTD isn't going to endear himself to anyone by killing Donna off, but still, it kinda worries me. I usually don't have a problem avoiding spoilers, but it seems like I'm running into more of them lately. Arg.

Ah! I still love Rose the bestest! It's weird having her come back though, considering how much I liked and most likely idealized that like in her absence. STILL SHE WAS SO COOL ( ... )

Don't get me wrong, I still love Rose lots, but I think Donna's really cool and I love her lots too. I think I might relate a little better to Donna now, but I know I felt like I related to Rose when her episodes originally aired. Actually, after I wrote this entry brother and I were re-watching "Army of Ghosts", and I remembered why I adored her so much in the first place.

I know what you mean about disconnect! Take last week's episode for example, "Midnight". It just seemed to be a lot of shouting and screaming without any sort of satisfying resolution. I'm all about a creepy mystery, but it didn't seem to really go anywhere, and I didn't particularly care about any of the side characters. There have been a few episodes this time around that were like that, where brother and I were sort of "buh?" afterward.

OMG, I was so pissed about River from "Silence in the Library". I liked her and wanted to know more about her, but nooo. I'm kind of curious as to whether or not she'll be seen in the future-- the distant future, ( ... )

About River showing up again: Yeah, I heard that David Tenant is signed up until 2010 or some such... so if the show continues indefinitely they might bring her up again, but doubtful.

So, what's the sitch with the new job? Take it? Not take it? Stress about the job?

I can't wait for the next episode!

Sweet. I like Tennant lots.

I took the new job, but they're doing a background check, apparently, so, uh.. I have no idea when I start. I know those things take at least a couple of weeks, so I'm going to give them 'till Monday before I call. Mostly I'm just stressed about working two jobs. I know lots of people do it, or have at some time, but I never have, so I'm kind of worried. I'm probably going to have to work twelve hour days five days a week and I've been lucky enough to not have to do that so far in my life.

I am way excited for the next episode. :D
