Korea, finally!

Okay by popular demand! A few KOREA pix!! Sorry for the wait, but my busyness has been keeping me from regular updates. There is soo much more going on, maybe i will get into that in a later post. But for now, enjoy these pictures! <3

This is the street by the hostel where I stayed. It is representative of most streets in Korea... at least the ones that arent taken over by Western expensive brand names and chain restaurants. But thats really rare, and limited to certain parts of the city. By and far, this is Korea.

A typical shop in the back roads areas.... this man is cutting the roots off of cabbage. Cabbage is EVERYWHERE in Seoul... just chillin on the streets waiting to be made into kimchi.. (spicy korean food).

It snowed our last night there... and it was SOOOO FUCKING COLD!!! We were freezing!! And this is after the bars =)

Ohhh rotting cabbage at the traditional korean village. We went there on Saturday. IT was really cool. A replica of what life was like long ago... and the coolest part was all the stuff they had there was still being used... the replica fields still produced crops, the ceramics kilns on the hills still fired pots, and people lived in some of the replica houses. It was really weird, almost surreal... and if it wasnt so cold and barren it would be 1000x better. But the winter was still quite pretty.

Another picture at the village. I am imitating a strange stone creation... im not sure of its history, but it was fun!

For you, Heather--- a traditional Korean MOTORCYCLE!!! Covered in snow. Lots of people rode motorcycles or motorbikes and let me tell you they were CrAZy drivers!! Driving all over the place, on streets, sidewalks, through red lights and hoards of pedestrains... its a different world!
