My thoughts and prayers go out to every one affected in the devastation of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. And with reports of it heading to the US west coast I cannot even imagine. So many people already affected.
I even cried this morning, the ships, the houses, the cars... it reminded me our earthquake last year and the devastation the tsunami caused in the south of chile, i never thought it could be any worse than that but japan earthquake was way worse!
their reaction and emergency-coordination system is superb but i dont think anything can prepare them for what happened, it was the worst earthquake they have had in over 100 years! and they have earthquakes all the freaking tme, more than us in chile.
We need to have japan in our prayers along with everybody in the pacific islands, some of those islands the red cross say that will be covered totally by the tsunami waves coming to the pacific coasts. there is a tsunami alert from alaska and all the way down to chile. people in the south of chile is freaking out (they had a tsunami a year-ish ago)
a chilean woman living in tokyo talked with a chilean tv news channel a while ago. the supermarkets are empty and there is no water. let's have them in our prayers and thoughts.
