I understand exactly what you're saying, but you must ask yourself "WHO ARE YOU REALLY MAKING HAPPY"? We all are respected for who we truly are atleast thats how its supposed to be. Seize the oppurtunity to be who you want to be because in the end if you find yourself alone anyway, atleast you'll be content with who you are. Atleast you'll have a real connection with "you". I always tell people if they cant respect me for me then they should look for friends or lovers who they can control and mold. We're not clay, we have personality traits, dimples that make our cheeks look adorably cute, hilarious laughs and funny voices. Who you are inside needs to reflect who you are on the outside. And your friends or significant other should bring that out of you not cause you to keep holding it in. Be you always, your happiness is most important!!
