So...if you haven't noticed it yet...I'm kind of crazy. Here's a list of the 100 books I want to read this year....its pretty daunting. I'd love any suggestions for better books or opinions on the current books on the list. Of course, the list is probably going to change drastically by the end of the year.

LOL there's too many books for my to focus on all of them.

Memoirs of a Geisha is on my list too (except my list is more in my head, might be wise if I wrote them down.)

Death of a Salesman was toture to read. Plays = not so fun. But, it could have been because I read it senior year and it was nearing the end of the school year. Thus everything was torture.

I did not like The Pearl either. But I remember liking My Antonia.

I wish I could go more in depth about the books but I don't remember much since I wasn't crazy about them. Sorry I'm no help.

Did you really like My Antonia? I read Cather's "Death Comes For the Archbishop" a few years ago and wasn't too crazy about it, but that could have been because I was forced to read it in acdec.
Everyone is saying the same thing about "Death of a Salesman"! I guess I'll decide whether or not to read it when I come to it.

And don't be sorry, I love hearing your opinions. :)

Wow that's quite the list! Good luck!
I've read Memoirs of a Geisha & Of Mice & Men, I thought they were both pretty good.
I also LOVED Confessions of a Shopaholic...there are about 4-5 out now in that series & I think they're all great.

Many of my friends fell in love with those Shopaholic books too, that's why I thought I'd give them a try! :)

The World is Flat Thomas Friedman is an excellent read - I would definitely recommend it.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Lewis Carroll has so many good quotes in it, make sure you take notes :)

Dracula, and Time Machine are good novels as well - Dracula is classic.

Death of a Salesman has to be the most depressing work I ever read - I was unable to finish it, and thus I would avoid it at all costs.

LOL.Why does everyone completely hate "..Salesman"? You're like the tenth person who told me that! The funny thing is, instead of keeping me from reading it, now I'm more interested than ever. =P

I can't wait to get started on the Caroll books! I'm certainly going to take notes. I'm a sucker for those quotes :)
