All the bands I want to see/people I want to see, are skipping LA/so cal on their tours to do Coachella.

While I admire Coachella and think it's great, I don't have the time, resources, or energy to deal with it to see these people!

Haha... sorry babe, I have a hard time feeling bad for you because L.A. gets overlooked for once. Try living in the midwest!

Mostly the Swell Season and Kate Nash.

Matt and I were supposed to see the Swell Season (the people from Once), like 6-7 months ago with this other couple but Matt (grr) had another commitment. This was back when Once was a small little film in three theatres in LA so it would have been a pretty intimate cool show.

Also Kate Nash. I lurve Kate Nash.

Both of these people are touring but the closest the come to LA is Coachella.

Have fun seeing Rufus Wainwright!!! I almost saw him at the Wiltern a week or two ago but didn't, I had seen him at the Bowl so I felt it was redundant despite my love for him and cigarettes and chocolate milk.
