If  there was ever a time for public transportation (I mean the metro not the bus) from the valley to the West side, it would have been today. Urgh. I was stuck in so much traffic. Double more than usual.

I just wanted to complain.

Literally. Just had my heart broken by another one of my teams. Stanford? Really? Stanford?

And there goes the National Championship bc of being sloppy.  

I got ten points over what I needed for the minimum GRE combined score for USC. Thank goodness. My application, I feel, is strongest in letters, statment of purpose, writing sample, and course work, and competitive in the undergrad GPA, so if the GRE is what I'm minimal on, I'll take it, especially since many professors have been telling me not to ( Read more... )

- So I was on the 405 the other day. And well, I looked over at the car next to me. There was a girl, with her windows down, driving, smoking a cig in one hand, and I look and she has in headphones in both ears. Now, to me this is pretty dangerous, esp on the 405, freeway/la what not. You can't hear horns/accidents happening in front of you etc.

I have time to post random thoughts.

1. Actually glad I got up at 5am. I take Hollywood Blvd down from Matt's if I'm there. It, believe it or not, is usually the fastest east to west street till Fairfax where it ends.
