I'm really happy.  The new semester looks great - plenty of workload but enough time to keep up, I can drive myself there any time I want to, and my set building class looks like it's going to be a blast.  I love small classes, and the final exam is a two-day long pot luck.  I thought the teacher was kidding when he said that, but he's not.

I heard colleges in Cali were "different"... That rocks.

It's hard telling your parents things sometimes, and I'm the same way; I hate keeping things from my parents because I know they really do care. I'm glad your mom took it well. <3 *hugs*
