I found out about another black film being made from a book called PUSH. Unlike Secret Life of Bees or Cadillac Records, I do want to see this film BUT it's not all that different. Another familiar film, only it's supposedly more graphic and better done than anything we've seen before. Or so Sundance claims.

Did u read that Mariah Carey plays a Jewish Guidance consuelor in that movie and that the director said she was good and that he was really impressed with her NY accent or something, but decided to not put her in the trailer because he didn't want people to judge the movie based on her...

I know she plays a Guidance counselor. No, I didn't know he was impressed with her but I think Daniels made the right decision not to put her in the trailer.

Ok, well what I wanted to tell you was that we can't get together tonight because there's going to be a big snowstorm. We can still pick you up if you need it, but get off at the Stratford station instead of Bridgeport.
