So three bouncers and a lolicon-ish girl work at a bar... (spoilers for the game)
First things first; The Bouncer is a canon that can not, under any circumstances, be taken seriously. It contradicts itself depending on which point of view you follow...and there are, actually, quite a lot of different endings and little secret WTF moments that you would have to play the game more times than it's really worth to see them all.
I will freely admit that I have not played the game so much as to get all the myriad different endings, but I've at least played through the main scenarios for each character. So while I'm not the Official Authority on the canon, I feel like I know it well enough to tweak it and still feel like I'm in-bounds for Things That Could Totally Happen.
Here's the Campbell's Condensed version of the storyline. The three main characters (Sion, Volt, and Kou) are all three bouncers at a bar called Fate. At the bar is a girl named Dominique, who is sort of the bar's mascot. She doesn't actually work there, and nobody seems concerned that she pretty much has no family, no past, etc. In fact, the characters really don't know each other in-depth at all...even though they're coworkers and supposedly pretty good friends. Anyway, Dominique has a thing for Sion, and Sion likes her too, but he's too...well, he has 'Cloud Strife' syndrome. People familiar Final Fantasy will probably know what I mean by that, but to put it in wider terms; he's cold, quiet, emo, and seriously needs to get laid.
In the opening sequence of the game, Dominique is kidnapped by OMGWTF crazy bullet ninjas. They're the Mikado Special Forces, and they skydive out of helicopters wearing bullet-shaped armor to smash into things below. And then somehow recover from the concussions they must've received from that and go kidnap Dominique.
Dominique, being the Typical Weak Female, of course does nothing but scream.
The game then follows Sion, Volt, and Kou on their way to the Mikado Building to rescue Dominique. This involves a lot of long, boring (but PRETTY) cutscenes and a few battles vs rent-a-cops and also a few Random Minor Characters (like Echidna, a slut if there ever was one, who used to work with Volt). Eventually they make their way to the Mikado building, split up, fight more people, and meet up again. After getting Dominique back, they have to fight their way out again...where it is eventually revealed that Dominique is a robot. Yep. A robot. I kid you not.
The leader of the Mikado Group, Dauragon, is Dominique's older brother. Or, rather, he had a little sister named Dominique, and created the robot Dominique to look, sound, and act like her. Seriously, this guy has a complex.
Of course, they don't make it out of the building with her. Dauragon gets her back, and then they blast off into space to the Mikado Group Space Station (join me in a hearty round of WTF?), where he straps her into the Solar Energy Net system the Group was creating, and aim a GIANT LASER at the earth.
I wish I was kidding.
Love triumphs and all that, but not before the self destruct button is hit! The bouncers have to grab Dominique-bot and get the the escape pod and get away before the station blows into itty bitty bits. And Dauragon is left behind and there's this nice dramatic shot of his floating, lifeless body...and his locket, with a picture of Dominique in it. Awww.
And they return to the bar, Sion and Dominique now know that they like each other, and nobody seems to care that Dominique is a robot. Even though she's, you know...a robot.
Changes for Fandom, Which Could Actually Fit Into Canon
Where I take Kou from is when the bouncers split up and infiltrate the Mikado building. Kou's scenario has him dressed up like one of the Special Forces, and he has to get through by trying to pass as one of them. Rather than getting through the scenario scott-free (and ending with the most flamboyant bow ever), Kou was caught...and, just to go along with the general WTF-ness of the game, the Mikado Group used him for some of their experiments. And wound up turning him from 25 to 16. Which would have been an amazing breakthrough, if the company hadn't collapsed soon after. The scientists had to destroy all of their evidence, including Kou. Rather than kill him, they sent him to school. They thought it would be better if they could stash him somewhere, and pick him up again later when the government wasn't watching.
Abilities, Powers, and Extreme Flexibility
Kou doesn't really have any special powers, other than serious flexibility. It's really pretty awesome; he can kick over his head. Which looks really, really painful, but he has been studying martial arts for a long time.
He also has the power of being a complete and total ho. It was actually mentioned in an interview with the game staff that Kou would, pretty much, sleep with anyone and/or anything. He's not picky.
Character Interactment, or 'Kou Will Hit on Anyone'
The header says it all. Kou will hit on anyone. He doesn't know the meaning of Personal Space, and Tact is not his strongest suit. If you really, really don't want Kou to hit on your character, please let me know. Because if nobody tells me these things, he might cross a boundary and I don't want anyone mad at me D:
I especially would like to hear from those in the same cabin as him for summer, if you actually made it far enough to read this. If you don't want to be hit on, I'll totally come up with some kind of IC reason for him to keep a respectful distance. Or something XD
