Sat down and watched The Mist the other day. Good movie, and I thought it was rather fucked up. Then I sat down and watched Sweney Todd last night. I stand corrected: The Mist was not fucked up.

I watched it after eating dinner. I know it was gonna be a gory movie, but it was the story, especially the ending, that I found to be truly unsettling.

When I was about 15 or so, I did a Community Theater run of Sweeney Todd as Crew.

I helped build the Barber Chair/Oven Set piece. I spent so much time in Shop, I never questioned what exactly I was making.

Until I saw the show. Oh God, was I not expecting any of that.

That movie was great. More should endeavor to be like it.
