Well things are starting to get a bit busyier again now. Went to the first party of the year last fri. Ran a lucky dip as an experiment. I was all nervous about wether it would work or be an abysmal failure but it went very well. just to top it all off
You know I really didnt think things could get much worse than they were. Living out of boxes because of the flood. Not having acess to most of my clothes and belongings because they are all in storage. We've just been told that ALL the asbestos tiles throughout the house are going to have to be removed, not just the broken ones. The housing ( Read more... ) -
moving into storage
Well the removal men have come and gone. It was made all the harder by the fact that my mother has been avoiding doing ANY pre packing with the net result she didn't put her clothes to one side and they got boxed and vanned and taken away before she realised. Tonights menu
Todays menue consists of seven spiced chicken stew with a side order of home made olive bread. Looking forward to dinner tonight. -
Bargin slippers and fledglings
Today has been a very good day. I wear a certain kind of slipper. They are like golddust to get hold of. A real hunt. I found 1 shop in the area so my uncle droped me down there to pick them up. Usually they are about £15 a pair but when the lady rang them up on the till they were only £2.99. She checked out back and came back with another 2 pairs ( Read more... ) -
housework and cooking
Ooh bu ti have been busy today. Done shedloads of tidying. I have excvated the hallway and most of the livingroom. Cleared off the dining table. Am in quite a happy mood atm. Went shoipping in town wioth my mum and found 2 skirts in a charity shop that are nice and don't seem to ever have been worn as well as ( more excitingly) a copy of the acomplished cook which is a well known collection of recapies from the 17th century.
