Lost And Found.

Since I can't get BodyShop to work, and can't make Sims for TS2, I went for a nostalgia trip.

I've been playing Sims for almost exactly nine years. Maybe it's just rose-tinted glasses, but I thought my TS2 Sims were gorgeous, especially after I discovered good CC. For some reason, I was never really into taking screenshots until TS3. Actually, the first household I started capturing regularly was the Throttlewoods, very likely the ugliest family I've ever made. At the time I made them, I was pretty much unable to create good looking Sims, so I decided to have fun with some estethically challenged oddballs instead.

Most of my old screenshots are lost to time and computer crashes, since I never got into the habit of uploading to a host. Here are some of the survivers from my old TS2 game.

Alicia McCarnie, who was the youngest in a large farmer family. I considered her to be one of the prettiest children I'd had in the game. The picture quality is pretty bad, so it's hard to tell.

Her cousin Shannon, who lived in the same house. Their lot wasn't as huge as it looks in these pictures, it's just a trick of the perspective.

Alicia was quite a little show-off. I miss the TS2 kids!

And this is Annie Riley, as she looked back then. I thought she was beautiful. When I look at this picture now, I think she looks more like an elf than a human. She's going to need a completely new version made, if I get BodyShop working.

And now, some pictures from my first TS3 game. These are all from 2009, I think.

Christina Reed, one of my favourite Sims in TS2. This version didn't look anywhere close to her.

Shannon Reed, Christina's sister. Yes, I know she has the same name as a Home & Away character from long ago, who also had red hair. She's not supposed to be her. I didn't remember the H&A girl when I named her.

This was their house. I was really proud of the garden. :) Second house I made in TS3. That's Natalie on the road, in a red t-shirt.

I don't have any pictures of the first Rileys, but this was their backyard. It's much like where they live now.

This is not Natalie and Lynn, although they belong to the Riley clan. Grace, the mother, is married to Aaron's brother. The girl is their middle child, Tara. She looked pretty much exactly like Natalie, though.

Youngest child, Laura. They lived up at Stoney Falls.

Belle, in her first incarnation.

This was that one time when Hank Goddard became a plant Sim. That's Tara again, with her back turned. Community lots sucked back in the base game.

Original version of Stannis. Harmony didn't exist yet, so he dated Shannon.

Scene from the Reeds' home life.

And this is inside the diner. Reminds me of those descriptions of what it feels like to experience a time-slip. Everything looks 2-dimentional like theatre props.
