This past weekend
Last week we got a foot of snow.
Yesterday it was in the 60s.
Now it's cold and rainy.
The Quest game this weekend was pretty fun. I was tired and a bit grumpy at the outset, but things did get amusing as the day went on. And it had been far too long since we'd had a post-game Athenian outing. Good times. The Kahla-Ranite party lives again! -

I now know what the next novel I write is going to be; I may even do NaNo this year in order to make it happen.
I'm doing a version of Clytemnestra's story. Because OMFG, I want to strangle both Electra and Orestes and shake them by the throats until their heads flop off.
This may well be the book I'm supposed to write. -

CG106 Update
As of last night, the NPC packet is finished and mailed out. There will be a couple of updates and addenda over the coming week, but the bulk of it is complete. Whee, warm and fuzzy sense of accomplishment!
...Now to make props... tomorrow. Today is anniversary; minimal work gets done today. -

I voted yesterday, and then came home and made an Election Pie. Fortunately, it turned out to be a celebratory pie, rather than a mourning pie. Although Prop 8 passed in California (DISAPPROVE), and a couple of other states passed some truly hideous ballot measures, at least I can take a small degree of comfort in the fact that Connecticut didn't ( Read more... )
