So yesterday was my 21st birthday... fun, I guess. No parties, nothing that cool. I went out to a fancy restaurant with my parents and Emma and the food was soooooo good!!! And my parents gave me a certificate to go to the spa and get a massage yesterday and it was gooooood

I think I'll stay away from alcohol just cause there's not really much point in it to me... maybe I'll try some stuff in the future, but I don't ever want to get drunk because I HATE THROWING UP!!!

And I didn't really think you guys forgot... just trying to make me look pitious.. hehe

i guess i'm the black sheep here, because i like a good beer. but the key with alcohol is, as long as you don't have more than one drink an hour, and you've had a sufficient meal and are well hydrated, you aren't going to get sick and vomit all night, because your body can metabolize that small amount. i drink often, usually just like a margarita or beer with dinner, and on the dozen or so occasions i have drank and became drunkity drunk drunk (as i like to call it), i have vomited only once. but that is just me, everyone's tolerance is different. but yeah, the coolest thing about being 21 is you can go to 21+ clubs and concerts. oh and if you are waiting for a table at a restaurant, you can wait in the bar, because it's open seating, and you aren't obligated to order alcohol.

lucky you, with your massage gift certificate. i'm guessing you didn't get my message? i called you around 2pm my time, and left a message on your cell phone. anyway, i sented you a letter yesterday too! so you'll get some mail this week.

speaking of alcohol, i went to red robin with caroline and had this shot that takes and spells like chocolate cake. it was weird, because usually when i take a shot, i can smell the alcohol a mile away, but with this i just smelled chocolate cake. mmmmm.

Haha, don't worry, I didn't really think you guys forgot my birthday I was just giving you a hard time.... I haven't gotten your message yet because I have no idea where the heck I left my phone!!! I should probably search for it sometime soon... Naw, but it sucked because I came home from dinner and stuff and thought "I'll check livejournal! Someone has to have said happy birthday on there!" only to find out that the server had a blackout or something so no one could use it! GRR!!!

Plus... even though I'm FINALLY with my family this year for my birthday, I'm getting tired of not having my close friends around :(
