Today has been the first really trying day since Mae was born, which is impressive as well as appropriate- she'll be one month old tomorrow! There had to be one imperfect day in there somewhere. Ben is sick, Sage is vomiting, and Mae is refusing to sleep unless she's being held (or in the sling). She's demanding food every two hours, so naps are

Melody wouldn't sleep unless held for pretty much the first few weeks of her life. Now that she's 3 months, she feeds every 2 hours but only takes 2-4oz at a time. She is a sociable one who seems to enjoy a LOT of attention, and will only have a couple of 30-minute naps during the day (one of them in my arms, the other in her cot after a lot of work to settle her). On the bright side, she's sleeping through the night from 8pm to 6 or 7am! I don't consider M to be a "difficult" baby, though it's bloody hard work, but it sounds as if Mae is normally a particularly easy one.
