My water just broke and we are off to the hospital so they can induce contractions. Loki should be born either tonight or tomorrow!!! We decided not to have visitors in the hospital, but we will have visitors when we return home. We will let everyone know when we are ready to have visitors. Thank you for all of your support!

Ugh... lizardjee, someone I know through a miscarriage and subsequent pregnancy community, gave birth to 34 week old twins earlier this month. She'd been through a miscarriage, then bedrest with these babies, and struggled to keep them safe until they were ready to be born. Yet another weekend has gone by where I could have sworn I would have a baby by the end of it. But I'm still here, still pregnant, with a 7 lb. weight pressing on my pelvis. And squirming. I. AM. SO. TIRED. OF. BEING. PREGNANT.

I just realized that I've completely neglected to post anything about Sage lately because I've been too busy feeling sorry for myself. Since he and his dad are out having fun at Magic Mountain, I thought I'd take the time to make a great big Sage Update.

Everything is fine on the baby front. Loki is about 6 lbs. 8 oz. and is very long. I saw her face during the ultrasound and it creeped me out a little bit. Not sure why, but her face looked distorted- her lips were pulled too wide across her face or something. It also looked like she had these huge jowls on either side of her chin. Still pregnant, not even having contractions at this point. Part of my brain is screaming in frustration and the other part is calmly telling the screaming part to shut the fuck up.
