Okay, I'm curious about this...I was having a conversation with one of the cashiers at work today, and I was wondering if anyone agreed with me ( Read more... )

I completely and totally agree. If you really love someone, you will be willing to do anything to make them happy, even if it doesn't help you in any way.

I do agree with this. If you love someone, you'll make them happy. Though, indeed, there are limits on it, as you said. One must take into account their own happiness as well, or they will never be happy themselves in the end. It's really hard and complex... I live it every day, but there should always be a compromise somewhere, I think.

I DON'T AGREE! RAWR!

Okay, now for the truthful non-rebellious side of me. I agree to an extent. There are limits on everything and what you just stated I totally agree with, but if we factor in loving someone so much you'd allow them to physically or mentally harm you/use you without a second thought, thats no longer love, thats buttsecks. ...er...thats insanity.

USELESS I know, but I just had to slap that in there =p I agree with what you said though.

Must agree! kiu_comachero March 24 2005, 13:27:40 UTC
If you love that caged bird, the bird that chirps to be free, then let it go. You love that bird, and it wants to be free. Let it go so it can be happy, even though you'll miss that bird. ^^; BIRD~! I like that word, anyway~Yes, I agree. Personally I always try and do whats best for everyone and leave myself on the side lines. I know I should care about my happiness as well, but nothing good comes from it ^^; Um, I should stop now, I felt a ramble coming on. Anyway, in short, I agree!

I totally agree!

I must say from experience though, letting that person you love go to someone else will probably be the hardest thing you ever do. Although knowing that they are happy because you let them go may make you feel better, seeing them with someone else can be a knife in your heart~
