I am glad to hear Zach is doing good and you may get a better job. I don't know how Barrett has been, and I probably deserve being ignored.

Anyways, full time work is demanding - a lot more work put in than back in college, but at least there is a direct reward. I hope you can get the better job and help you with expenses on Zach and maybe move out eventually.

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday!

I don't think you have done nothing with your life, and I think it's a really good thing that you want to improve the way things are going.

As far as school goes, you can see if either the ARC office can do something for you (as you are a single parent) or if you can get CalWorks through the Department of Human Assistance (which will also pay for you to go to school, if you qualify).

Also, my job site is hiring for one more position (Birth and Beyond, where you do home visitations with pregnant moms and those who have young children), but you would need your own transportation and they are kind of snobby when it comes to hiring people (I still think it may be worth a try). The one thing that is really cool is that they pay 100% of childcare.

Well, good luck to you in the upcoming year, and I hope things go better for you. *hugs*

That job sounds cool and something i would actully want to do, but i do not have a car and i do not know how far the bus can take me.
