First off, congrats. But... not to be a wet blanket, but following your LJ over the past few months, are you sure you're life'll be stable enough for a kid? Do you have health insurance? Do you make enough for day care? Just things to think about, and if you're all set then go for it! :)

just kidding. Although I wouldn't doubt if someone was carrying my spontaneous 'I stared too long' love child.
But seriously, being an adult is harder than you think, and you only realize that after you decide to stop. I think you're doing a wonderful job although you have been failing in one department. the drinks dept. You and I need to get a drink. Coffee, coco, jamba, water I don't care. We aught to be hanging out like a girl and her best gay friend who she's had the hots for for the last ten years, ala will-n-grace. lol. Seriously though, I miss you. I don't have many friends, since I shot them all. I'm keeping the once that I missed.
