Just saw I'm Not There, which was, it turns out, co-produced by my next-door neighbour (and something of a friend, but not close) during college. Yep, I feel like a big ol' failure.

i saw this post a while ago and have been thinking about it since, challengers. personally, i love the album. one thing that might turn other people off, several songs' "textures" don't begin until about a minute and a half after the opening... and those openings are generally slow/paced as well. there's a lot of that in this album, though they've done it here and there in other albums. personally, that kind of unfolding is something i love about the band.
