Neal is on his way to South Carolina. He got a call that his uncle Bob died, he's going there with his father. It's very unexpected, since he was the youngest brother, Neal's father is the middle child. I don't know how long Neal will be there, but he's there for his father, and for his grandparents. You Strike Me As...Human

I think when it's all said and done, in our lives we only see pieces/parts of people--even people we know. We work so hard every day in our lives doing a sort of "fan dance" hoping against hope people don't glare at our "naughty bits". But that's kind of the point--we all have "naughty bits" and "shadows". It's what makes us human.

I've only had brief exposures to you, Tim, but I've always cherished the kind side you've shown to me. Women as pretty as yourself, don't aren't usually that kind to a heavy-set fellow with self-esteem problems like yours truly. You've talked to me without any kind of patronizing air in your voice, and you even physically touched me on more than one occasion to let me know that another human being still cares. Hell, you were even kind in the way you turned me down with my, er..."amorous proposal". That means a lot!

Moral? You're plenty moral in all the ways that fundamentally count in a human being as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks, Patrick. I think sometimes I just get down and too hard on myself. I realize that we're all imperfect ;). And since we're both human, I'm glad I've treated you well. I don't think being a pretty girl gives me license to mistreat other people, so I'm glad that I've been as good to you as I've intended to be. You've always been a sweet and kind person as far as I can see, so I'm glad you're my friend.
