I realized this morning that people actually genuinely like me.

It's a strange thing that I guess I hadn't realized before. Maybe years of feeling like a geek, a faggot, and a loser have finally started to wear off?

It was a strange and yet pretty huge realization, indeed. I don't think I even really realized that I even had those ideas in my head... that somehow, I was fundamentally someone who had to fake it to be liked, that interactions I had with people would always be coloured by the fact that I was somehow not worthy, or something, of being liked by people... very under the surface low self-image, or something... always unpopular, in my own head, always unliked and unlikable...

weird. The realization was pretty huge, actually.
