Small Town Life

Living in a small town definitely has its perks. However, there is also that point at which you start to grow numb from sheer boredom. How many times can I visit WalMart or Kmart? What to do for fun? There are lots of bars in town and restaurants. But you can only eat or drink so much. Lots of parks to take the kiddies. Not much for the kids ( Read more... )

What if you lived in a town where there was no Wal-Mart or K-Mart? No bars, few restaurants, no book store, only two small parks? That's where I live! And all of my family is here, so it would be harder to leave and go to a place where there were all of those things. It does get tiresome, though.

I know it's always worse somewhere else. The only thing that keeps me here is my family. My daughter would be devastated if I took her away from grandma and grandpa.
I'm just being selfish and complaining. :)
