"Raven?" Kathy called loudly to be heard over the TV. "You hungry? I got a slew of hot quesadillas from downstairs if you are."

She knew how much Kathy was supposed to eat, after all. And Kathy was just the sort to offer even if there weren't enough for both of them to be satisfied.

Kathy was still not making a big deal (ie, was still mostly hiding it) out of going vegetarian, but Raven was the exception to that. Raven was the exception to most of the secrets she was keeping to herself. Except for Fight Club, but even that was more 'hadn't figured out how to explain it' than 'deliberately trying to keep her in the dark.'
"And I got us salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, along with yellow rice and beans, so we should be all set!"
Kathy still wasn't eating anywhere near as much as she had last year. But it was more than she'd been eating a few weeks ago, so...progress?

It was easier to focus on whether Kathy was taking care of herself instead of worrying about her own new couch-potato status.
"Sounds perfect." Raven shifted over on the couch. "You wanna come eat over here? I can change the show if you're not into Dr. Sexy."
