So. Prom was happening. Kathy had gone to the dance - which was awesome, she'd missed it last year, so she was basically getting a do-over on her senior prom! Ringo was finding it a lot harder than she'd expected to readjust to being, well, Ringo. The nightmares she'd been having hadn't really gone away, but she was managing to struggle through them okay most days, even if it did mean it was harder for her to pull herself out of bed some mornings.

That just meant AT rides ran later into the evening to compensate. And then even later than that as she tried to expend enough energy to get at least some dreamless sleep when she got back to the dorms.

She wasn't even really aware of the whole prom thing, which meant that she was going less than top speed as she bounced along the roofs, frowning as she tried to figure out why everyone was dressed up so fancy.

It was distracting enough that Ringo almost ran into Raven as she skidded along the roof of Luke's. It'd been a while since she'd really thought about sharing the overhead space of the island.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry," she babbled as she weaved to one side to avoid a collision and then skipped awkwardly to a stop.

Raven had half-shifted into a bird by the time Ringo stopped, and ended up standing on the edge of the roof, shaking off fluffed up feathers.

"Ringo," she greeted. "Hey. You're not at the dance?"

Ringo blinked. "The dance?"

A thought struck her, and she glanced down at the street beneath the roof. "Is, um, is that why everyone's so dressed up?"

Raven smiled faintly. She felt a little bit better about spending most of her time on the couch right now.

"Pretty sure," she said. "Kathy went as Anders' date."
