The Movie is in the can!
Finished the movie production Saturday am. Long week and glad it is over and at the same time looking forward to the next one. Now I need to get the dish up at the new house, get the receivers working and get the dish account moved over to the new location. I also need to get my new video editor built and provisioned. Update long overdue
Well my live journal has been dead so I thought I would bring it back to life. This past weekend I had the good fortune of getting in on a two day Glidecam (competitor to Steadcam) course. Trip to LA to see CineGearExpo 2007
Just got back from CineGearExpo 2007. This event was held at the Wadsworth Theater in LA in the outdoor area outside. All the major film & video folks were there with their wares to be seen and in some cases tried. It was very educational for me as there were some companies there that were not at NAB. Analog vs Digital, sometimes analog is better
Last weekend I had the good fortune of spending the day at a remote place off of Mines road in Santa Clara County. Sort of off the beaten path, very private, very quiet, and very remote. Back home again
Got back from Dallas after a successful Dish Dealer show. Learned a lot and saw some new products that I can't wait to see released for sale. Now that I am home I have a massive cleanup effort to have the house ready for sale plus the Buick that is now sitting in the driveway needs to be put in running condition to make it usable again. Mt View Critter Parade
We had a successful critter parade in Mt View yesterday. Got to see old friends and get some good video experience on the XDCAM-HD cam. It was hot and carrying that cam around was a real workout which explains why I was really tired at the end of the day. I could hardly keep my eyes open last night and went to bed at early 10:30. Back home
It is good to be home. Came back yesterday. Stopped off at BandPro in Burbank to pick up the Matt Box and some filters. Man this thing is really nice, can't wait to try it out today. Feeling better today
The Motel in Baker that I stayed at had WI-FI. Very suprised to find that out in the middle of nowhere and they did not charge anything extra like Vegas does. So I had a chance to catch up on email and stuff ( Read more... )
