The first friend that I ever had was a black girl.
I wouldn't have had that first friend if not for Dr. King and all the others who made tremendous sacrafice for Civil Rights.
It's definitely something that I think about every day.
But we still have a long way to go till Dr. King's dream is realised.

~sniff~ I love you, Marcus! (HUGZ!!!) I'm glad that the white man (Yes, I'm white, so no slack, please.) has slowly begun to dislodge that racist stick from his ass, too. One day, maybe it'll be fully removed and life will be fair and pleasant for everyone in the nation, regardless of ethnicity, or even creed or gender for that matter. ~sigh~
