Went to the usher hall last night with emo_mz and had a fabulous time despite being absolutely shattered. The Wagner at the start was lovely, the piece in the middle was from 1916 ish and was completely new to me, but still very enjoyable and impressive to hear. Well that was a week and a half, Monday was particularly hellish, precocious brats make a teachers life a misery. Luckily the week then started to pick up. Last night was interesting - we were looking at the 7 motivational gifts last night. I had already read the book, but it was quite useful going over them again and confirming my first suspicion. Parents night sort of survived, could have been worse, but still feel like any confidence I had was shredded. Last nights gathering worked well thanks to AG being here to welcome people for me, but I was somewhat tired after an 11 hour day. Hopefully I have enough energy to get through today, but I am not sure atm, I am VERY tired.
