That reminds me, have you read Silence and if so, will you ever include it in one of your classes?

Silence has been on my To Be Read list for years now, and I just need to find the time to read it. Eventually, I really want to teach a class on gender in medieval romance and it would definitely be part of that (along with Bisclavret, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Chaucer's Knight and Wife of Bath, and Mélusine, probably among others).

Ooh! That would be a fantastic class! And yes, you should definitely read Silence. It is one of my favorite works from that period.
