It's actually quite difficult to find one pleasurable thing per day! I don't think things you take for granted really help... best are things that genuinely change your state of mind, but aren't necessarily a retreat/comfort - looking for random things you feel tweaks of genuine healthy natural spontaneous enthusiasm for, and following them through. Things that make you feel alive.

Everyone's different of course, but I found that however lengthy and unyielding the 'down', there were always retreats of a kind - what that period really lacked was instances of genuine natural spontaneous interest and curiosity in anything whatsoever. I kind of learned to look for those small tweaks of interest in random things which occurred once in a blue moon - and to act on them and encourage that kind of thought pattern. All that stuff which you feel when "healthy & normal" gets drowned when your down has taken on a life of its own.
