Life is going well. I beat out the depression of years long gone, and now I have an 11 year old step-daughter and a 3 year old daughter. Dot & Hannah get along well, and Hannah loves her sister even if Dot can be irritated by her at times (that's what sisters do, Dot, sorry). Happy New Year!

Wishing you all a safe and happy christmas day!! (Mine will involve Madilyn being brought over @ 2 and daddy & Elena arriving around the same time for some family fun, maybe a movie or game, and food! Gifts to follow both that evening & the day after as we celebrate our family xmas on Sunday!)

Just finished my walk it out workout - 2.3 miles... much harder than a real 2.3 miles for sure. down to 264 and hit my 2lb weight loss goal in 1 week! school is done & im ready for break!!

So despite Ruth's withdrawal from mom's house & the drama that accompanied it, tonight is a family dinner w/ mom, Candy, Arthur, myself, Ben, & Madilyn that should be very fun. :)

Ps. I made pigeon pea rice, all by myself! (well, almost)

I was invited to go out to this dating show/special. I had registered on a site before I was with Ben, so I went to it, planning on telling anyone involved that I was taken up front.
