This has been the world's longest move! Been moving stuff in since Saturday the 15th, and actually living here since Wednesday. I thought it would be easier to move stuff in my car, as I wanted, instead of cramming everything into one day with a Uhaul. Yay on the apartment though boo on the car. I would suggest if it continues to be an annoyance to bring it up to the office. Sounds like they have either punted or no one has had the guts to complain. I would imagine it would have to be an aftermarket alarm because every alarm I've encountered that's factory is not vibration sensitive.

On the modem, when I moved I found I had to not only 'reset' the modem, but I had to go into the management software and reset stuff there and in windows. It was a real pain in the butt when we moved from Monterey to RI on getting the wireless router to talk to the new modem.

Yay on the apartment. Boo on the jerk. Either the office has punted on it or no one has complained. I would bring it up to them if it's a continued issue.

As to the router, I know those problems. I had to go in and manually reset the information for IP, DNS and all that other stuff in XP to get the router to reset for wireless. that meant hooking the cable and getting all that info and entering it into XP. For some reason it was holding onto the old modem info.
