I've had two companies (retail) who won't even consider me because I was fired for missing work. Doesn't matter that it was due to illness. Doesn't even give you a chance to state that.

Oh, well... moving along.

Ouch! I am sorry to hear this. What a pain. Once you get a job or two between you and your last one, this should not matter, but I am not sure what you do if it's preventing you from getting a new job now :-( Still hoping for the best for you!
