I showed some of the beads I bought a Boca Loca and she wants to buy a necklace off me from some of the beads. I originally wasn't intending to sell anything from these beads but she really wants to buy something. One of the things she really likes is one of the pieces of jade I bought. If she is willing to pay the amount I want for the necklace -

FWIW... when I'm pricing out my own beadwork, I calculate the cost to me x 3. That generally covers my work. If you're not doing anything to it, or very little, you can do x 2, but sometimes the reality is somewhere between the two.

Your mileage may vary...but if the beads and supplies cost me $20, I'd be charging at least 50, probably closer to $60 if I was making something with them. Don't undercut yourself. :)

Thanks. I really had no clue how much to charge for stuff I made. I'll probably up the price then and if she doesn't want it then I get to keep it for myself. If she does then I get to have money for Faire.
