We'd really be able to use some extra money right now, so I'm begging y'all to watch my video multiple times, pass it on to friends, write little bot scripts to view it continually, start chain letters claiming that people will get hit by a bus if they

Well, I'm looking into it, but for now just get every computer you have (or other people have) to visit separately. Each account on each computer should count as a separate view too, so take advantage of that.

I tried it several times, but like others have said, it's not upping you view count. Stupid YouTube.

I watch it a few times this morning. The count was at 12 then. I didnt see any change in the counts. When I got back on this afternoon, the count was up to 101. I think the counter must only refresh every so often, not automatically after each viewing.
Also, I noticed that after opening up 25 windows with the video playing, # 26 to #30 (as many as I got to opening) those last 5 had an error message from YouTube on them saying that the video was no longer available. I think they must limit the bandwidth each video can use.
In any case, 25 of them took about 10 minutes to play through. I have a pretty fast CPU here (2x2.66Ghz Dual-core Xeon) and it was getting max'd out. But I think it would've gone faster if we were on a residential ADSL instead of T-1 SDSL. The down speeds are much faster on my home DSL (~7mbs) where work is ~ 1.5mbs down.
