Windows XP has been the main version of Windows around for quite a while now. Holidays
Well, I'm down visiting my folks in Devon again. Having a staggered week away, being off Friday to Thursday. I'm definitely glad to be taking some time off work, as it's more than chaotic at the moment. And these few days should allow me to keep functioning until December ( Read more... ) -

Just so that people are aware that things aren't all bad at the moment (and that I know it), I've visiting my folks from Friday for a week.
Definitely looking forward to a good few days of downtime. :-D -

I know I'll beat it, and soon, which helps. But I sure wish I didn't still get lows like this. -
One more step towards dual-system
I've finally got around to installing Drivel on my Linux PC. So one more step towards being able to use it alongside my iBook :-D
OK, I've still a way to go. It's mainly hard-ware drawbacks at the moment, though. Some things simply will feel clumsy and slow on a machine with only 256MB RAM and a not-really-3D-accellerated not-much-RAM graphics ( Read more... ) -

Minor Update
I'm now signed up with my current flat for a further six months. -
Bit of a pants day all around
Well, we got in this morning to find a room unlocked and with a laptop sat in it. One we'd set up for a meeting yesterday. One we'd forgotten to bloody pick up by 5pm - despite the meeting being in the morning.
So we were kinda in trouble for that.
Day didn't exactly get worse, but it sure as hell didn't set a great tone. -

Yes, using the LJ website would allow me to post, but using a client is always a lot mroe convenient.
