and I would add, shame on McCain for turning his back on POWs and detainnees.

I once respected him on this issue, but he has backed down completely and now support Bush--lunacy.

I have never been so angry at the GOP in my life right now. Especially because of this totally fake smoke-and-mirrors Kabuki dance that McCain, Warner and Co. put on for us, and I totally bought into it, at least at the beginning.

It was only done to give the public a little "relief" that someone was out there, trying to protect them, but it was totally fake. Just when I think the GOP has hit the bottom of the amoral morass they occupy, they plumb to even worse depths.

Holland is looking better and better all the time...

We were discussing the merits of becoming ex-patriots last night. I need to make a list of possible countries and give this some serious thought....

It's sad, I never thought it would get that bad.

It really is like there are two completely seperate nations trapped together in the US. I keep praying that the Northeast will seceed from the US before things get too insane.

Canada might be good, but I worry the US is going to slowly take over, and then you're screwed again.

Holland, Finland...I hear Costa Rica is real nice too...
