the airports of my life

I write you from LAX, where my flight has been delayed. I was overcome by chargeaphobia, the fear that my phone and Kindle and laptop would run out of electricity, so I paid to use the lounge. I feel your pain! My friends and I once had a delayed flight (Atlanta to Chicago) and we ended up sitting in that Atlanta airport for TEN HOURS. Waiting... and waiting... and after each suggested timeframe had passed, they delayed the flight some more. During the wait, we strolled the entire airport and all its shops, had a snack, played MadLibs (silly fun), played cards, and I read almost the entire first Harry Potter book. It was a very long wait.

Thank goodness for that lounge, wifi and magazines! May your wait be swift and fun.

Oh, the joys of air travel. Over the years I've found that I'm allocating less and less lugage space to clothing and more and more to a range of 'entertainment products' (and their chargers) to keep me sane during the flight. ;)
