A saturday afternoon spent....

making applesauce, alongside emily and nate making ambitious amounts of apple butter. sounds of apples bubbling and swirling on the stove. cloves and cinnamon filling the cowan's kitchen.

trish sewing, listening to threatening stories on npr. rushing downstairs to show us the new hat she made with sweaters she felted
