So, Monday Tori and I met with one of the surgeons at the base medical center. He said that he and the urologist will be working together on the case and that they will attempt a laproscopic approach and if that doesn't work then they will fall back on an open adrenalectomy. hmm. seems to me that being in the military, especially under active duty, would place strain on the adrenal glands/system... being on alert, or being in the combat zone, no? Perhaps this is something they know something about, or know another military surgeon who knows more about it.
I'm glad you're not in much discomfort, and that you're doing everything you can do to keep yourself well informed and proactive in your own treatment.
