After my diagnosis the surgeon ordered a number of follow up tests in preparation for me to meet with the oncologist. Most of these tests were aimed at trying to find a primary source of the cancer in the event that the adrenal gland wasn't the only place that it was located. I'm thinking of you. That is a huge blow.

There is a drug called Tarceva that is approved for pancreatic & lung cancers but doesn't always work. Basically, it only works against one particular, uncommon cause of the cancer. Sometimes they just prescribe it without knowing if it'll help. I don't know how likely it is that yours is the type it helps, but please do mention it to the doctor (it's probably common knowledge - I just happen to know a lot because my science collaborator had lung cancer that responded to it, so we learned about the genetics and mechanism.)
